Abby - Our Front Desk Specialist

Abby graduated from Drake University, as a teacher with a degree in multi-categorical special education. Her graduate studies were primarily in the area of psychology. After retiring from the Des Moine’s school System, Abby joined our staff at the front desk , working with scheduling, insurance, and public relations. Activities include trail riding, English riding, caring for her horses, and nature in general.

Alex –

Shannon Alexandria Osburn EFDA, is a native of west Texas. She relocated here on a tumble weed back in 1993. She has a background in nursing where she has worked with diverse groups of people with many different medical problems from short stay med. surgical units to ICU and the severely handicapped. She doesn’t feel alive unless she’s truly helping someone. She entered the dental field in 1998 and finds it exceedingly rewarding. She is an experienced dental assistant with her state certification and expanded functions in Restorative I & II (MDA & Kansas School of Dentistry 2001), Prosthetics Fixed & Removable (OTC 2006) as well as volunteers in our public schools for dental health awareness month for dental health education. SHe is also CPR certified. She is presently trying to complete her Masters in Ed./Humanities & Ancient History at MSU. She and her husband combined have five children age range 8 years to 19 years old. Her favorite place to be is somewhere near the equator overlooking the Caribbean with a good book.

Kelly -

Kelly McAdams CDA, EFDA, has been a dental assistant since 2005. Completing all expanded functions courses at OTC including Basic Skills, Placement of Restorative Materials, Fixed & Removable Prosthetics, Perio and Orthodontics, finally receiving her certification in 2005. She is CPR certified as well. Kelly has two children, Finnegan her 8 year old son and Annabelle, her 3 year old daughter. She is very happy to be a part of our team.

Emily -

Emily Burks, RDH has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1990, she is also CPR certified. She attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO and graduated with an Associate’s Degree. She has three boys who keep her busy being a sports Mom. She also enjoys gardening and a good book. She will be happy to help you achieve your best smile with a thorough and painless cleaning.

Brenda -

Brenda Jowers, has been working as a business assistant in the dental field since 1980. As a Christian she feels very blessed to be a part of this Christian based practice.Brenda will be happy to assist you with all your dental questions utilizing her many years of experience. When not working, Brenda enjoys painting, decorating, quilting, stained glass and gardening. She was the first winner of “Garden of the Year” sponsored by 417 magazine. Brenda currently resides in Ozark with her husband. They have 2 sons, four grandsons and one step grandson.

Terry -

Terry is a native of southern IL and has been in the Springfield, MO area now for about 12 years. Terry entered the dental field in 1977. Terry is an expanded function dental assistant with specialized skills in restorative dentistry. She also will help you with any administrative services you may need while at our offices. She is a proud mother of four children. Her hobbies include gardening, swimming, walking, shopping and playing piano.

Alisa -

Alisa was born in Rockford, IL and native of Boliver, she entered the dental field in 2006, after graduating Vatterott College. She is an expanded function Dental assistant with specialized skills in restorative and prosthetic dentistry and she enjoys helping others. She is also CPR certified and Nitrous certified. She has a 7 yr old daughter. Her interests include the outdoors, camping, swimming and canoeing as well as photography and travel. She thinks Hawaii would be a nice place to go and visit.
